DC Thomson Media Nominated for Five Awards at Marketing Society Star Awards

DC Thomson Media has been shortlisted for five awards at this year’s Marketing Society Star Awards.

The awards, now in their 16th year, celebrate innovation, leadership and drive and recognise the work that achieves results, and makes a real difference, both within the marketing industry and beyond.

The work DC Thomson Media has been shortlisted for is;

  • Platinum – the Magazine launch of the decade in 3 categories – Brand Development, Marketing Planning and Advertising. These entries are in partnership with Glasgow-based communications agency WIRE, named as the Marketing Society Scotland’s Star Agency of the Year in 2019.
  • Call for Back Up – Poppy Scotland into the Marketing in Society category, in partnership with advertising agency Mediaspark.
  • Know your beef – Quality Meat Scotland into the Food and Drink category, in partnership with advertising agency Carat.

This is a fantastic example of teams from across the Media business, from commercial, insight creative and editorial, collaborating to put forward three case studies of marketing excellence that delivered significant results throughout 2019.

The awards night has been moved to October 22, and will take place at The Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
