The Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a Scottish institution. For more than 100 years we have produced outstanding journalism that reflects our brand values of decency and fairness. At our core is the desire to right wrongs, hold the powerful to account and support our readers.
Our investigative journalism has exposed scandals including that of Smyllum orphanage where 400 children were buried in unmarked graves. We have also campaigned for women whose lives were wrecked by medical mesh forcing the Government into a public apology. And we revealed how unscrupulous individuals were milking the charity system for hundreds of thousands of pounds. Such stories saw us named Scotland’s Newspaper of the Year in 2018.
Our news coverage is complimented by our P.S magazine which leads the way in travel, homes, fashion and entertainment. The newspaper is also home to some of Scotland’s best columnists such as Judy Murray, Ross King, Alan Brazil and Kenny Dalglish.
And, finally, The Sunday Post is where you will find Scotland’s most iconic cartoon characters: The Broons and Oor Wullie who are still as popular as ever. Indeed, 2019 has been a vintage year for Oor Wullie with the launch of Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail which has seen almost 200 statues appear in cities across Scotland as part of an effort to raise funds for children’s hospitals
